info:
The new expression of Rémy Martin VSOP comes from the finishing period of the eaux-de-vie that takes place after the final blend, at the end of the ageing process.>>During one year, the eaux-de-vie are stored exclusively in mature Limousin oak casks that are more than 20 years old, enhancing their fruity notes: this is what is called the Mature Cask Finish.

COGNAC

Name after the town Cognac in France, these brandy must be made from a certain type of grapes, growing only in these part of France. Cognac is well known to be the best brandy of the world: smooth with a heady scent.

The brandy must be twice distilled in copper pot stills and aged at least two years in French oak barrels. Cognac matures in the same way as whiskies and wine when aged in barrels, and most cognacs are aged considerably longer than the minimum legal requirement.
